Immaterial

Into the void, we dropped a parable

While laughing love's light was leading hysteria

A burning lantern that dims all fears of

The comfort of night on the eve of the turning tide

Out of the street the cardboard mime speaks

Out of the street and into the mind

Love, lead them away from the water they drink

Love, lead them back to my bread and my wine

Awaken from this trance beside the sweet starry sadness

Your unhappy cup is full with a drop's worth of time

The moments will pass unnoticed if allowed to

Gather your gladness about us with mine
